Description
“Eye of the Storm” is a motion reactive exhibit that prompts the audience to explore seeking intentional moments of stillness.
In this motion reactive exhibit, viewers move and interact with the piece, with the projections morphing to different states in response to different levels of movement in the room. A guided meditation track plays over a cacophony of cityscape, prompting visitors through body-scanning visualization and practices. As audience members find moments of stillness, the projection imagery shifts from chaotic city static to peaceful nature imagery.
The piece features stop motion animation work by Toronto artist Cassidy Skye James and voiceover work by Chelsi Campbell of Ctrl Alt Beat.
